Men For the Gunboats - Forty-five men of the crews of the gunboats Royal and Hercules, lying at the Navy Yard, came up this morning by rail, and will at once set to work in fitting up their respective vessels for active service during the coming season.

Toronto, March 28th - A vessel was seen this forenoon coming up the lake on the other side of the Island, making for this port. She was at too remote a distance to ascertain her name. This is the first arrival of the season.
