p.2 Mr. Cunningham's Challenge - Mr. Henry Cunningham requests us to state that the sail boat Pride of the Waves is owned not by himself but by Mr. Dix, and that, had it not been for an oversight, the name of Mr. Dix would have been appended to the challenge which appeared on Saturday. The challenge was properly intended for any of the boats of Mr. McCorkell, and not for the Dominion.

Police Court - 2 hands on steamer Spartan charged with stealing on board Spartan, by Captain Howard; one a deck hand and the other a fireman.
