p.2 THE BOAT RACES AT LACHINE

To the Editor of the Daily News;

Sir, - I am glad to see from the public prints that credit has fallen to Kingston at the boat races at Lachine, by the victory of the sail-boat Dominion, said to be owned by Mr. O'Gorman, winning, as it is said, against crack boats from Toronto and other places. Kingston has more of the same sort, for the Blue Eyed Maid has already beaten the Dominion twice in this harbor, and taken the challenge prize. Observer.

Arrivals - 5; Departures - 5,6.
