p.2 Vessels Laid Up in Kingston & Vicinity - The following are the names of the steamers, propellers and sailing craft generally, laid up in this harbor for the winter, as well as those which have gone into winter quarters at Garden Island:-
Steamers - Grecian, Kingston, Magnet, Champion, Bay of Quinte, Watertown, Pierreport, Gazelle, Huron and Bruce.
Propellers - St. Lawrence, Avon, Brantford, Georgian, Bristol, East and Colonist.
Tugs - Ellen Jeffers, Wales, Glide, and Swan.
Sailing Craft - British Lion, Selkirk, Mariner, Annie Minnes, Annie Falconer, Waterwitch, and Princess Alexandra, Wave Crest, Baltimore, Jenny Rumball, Mariniere, Red Rover and Alvina.
Besides these there are about thirty barges belonging to the various forwarding establishments, besides a fleet of wood scows. There are about half a dozen sailing vessels also laid up at Portsmouth.
At Garden Island - Steamers - Gunboat Hercules, Wellington, John A. Macdonald, Gildersleeve, America, City of Hamilton, William, and Highlander.
Sailing Vessels - Barque London; schooners Oriental, Denmark, Richardson, and Maria; brig Liverpool; brigantine Lafayette Cook; and sloop Greyhound.
p.3 Sloop For Sale - The Subscribers offer for sale the sloop Gull, of Montreal, lying at Gananoque. Measurement - 25 tons. She was built at Ogdensburgh in 1865, is capable of carrying 28 cords of wood, or 2,000 bushels of Grain, with a draft of 3 feet. She has a complete set of hatches, sails, rigging, anchor, chains, etc., all in good order
