p.2 The Buoys Off Point Frederick - These shoal marks are sufficiently conspicuous this spring to prevent accidents like that of Wednesday last, when the Anna Craig went on the middle shoal where she remained several hours, but was towed off by the steamer Gazelle without damage.
The Royal Mail Line - The steamer Grecian sailed tonight for Toronto and Hamilton, while the Magnet will follow her tomorrow night, after having procurred her wood at Gananoque, for the same places. The Kingston, the first steamer down, will arrive on Sunday next en route for Montreal. On Tuesday next the steamers of this line will commence running regularly daily East and West, Mondays excepted.
The Barque Arabia - This vessel, belonging to the estate of James Boyd & Co., was offered for sale at public auction today at noon at an upset price of $10,500, and was withdrawn.
St. Catherines, April 25th - The break in Welland Canal is repaired. Locking will be commenced this evening.
