p.2 The Pierrepont - This steamer has been laid regularly for Clayton and Gananoque.

Freights at Chicago - The barque Robert Gaskin has been chartered for Kingston with corn at 12 cents. The Mary Merritt has also got a charter at 12 cents. The rates have been published in a contemporary at 10 cents, but this, we are assured, is incorrect. The mistake appears to have been made in Milwaukie.
