p.2 The new schooner Pearl, built by Mr. D. Eccles, at Battersea, is getting up her rigging at the wharf, foot of William Street. The gunboat Heron is anchored off the K.W.W. Company's wharf.

Drowned - crew-man drowned off steamer City of Ottawa, while locking through at Smith's Falls.
