p.2 A schooner loaded with scrap iron for Buffalo sank in the Lachine Canal yesterday, below Wellington Bridge.

St. Anne's Regatta - The Nydia, formerly the Lady Macdonald, left yesterday for St. Anne's, to participate in the regatta on Saturday next. Her owner enters her for the yacht race, and have secured the services of Mr. Cunningham, part owner of the Pride of the Wave, as sailing master.
