Collision On the Bay of Quinte - Mill Point, Aug. 1st - A steamboat collision took place here about 8 o'clock this morning. As the steamer John Greenway was coming into the wharf from Picton, the steamer Bay of Quinte struck her hard on the port bow, causing her to take water rapidly. She was drawn into four feet of water and sunk. Her passengers were got off safely. Damage about $1,000; insured for $2,000. The Bay of Quinte passed down without injury.
