p.2 The Regatta - At a meeting of the yachtsmen of Kingston, held on Monday evening, at No. 2 Hardy's Buildings, Ontario Street, Mr. James Falconer in the chair, it was resolved that the regatta should take place on Saturday next, August 22nd, and that the prizes be $40, $20, and $10 - first, second, and third respectively, open to all boats of twenty feet keel and under. A half minute's time per foot allowanced from larger to smaller boats. No restrictions as to sail or rigging. The judges appointed are James Falconer, A.M. Brown, and F.C. Cline.
