p.2 Regatta - tomorrow; Pride of the Wave, the Arrow and the Electric entered.

-The water in the Carillon and Grenville is so low that steamboats of light draft find difficulty in getting through. A diver has been improving it by descending to the bottom, in shallow places, to pick up the stones that have rolled in from the banks. Some of them are so large that a man would find them too heavy to lift above water.
