p.2 Melancholy Loss of Life - two people lost on Georgian Bay near Owen Sound in small sailboat.
p.3 A telegram this morning from Oswego, informs us that the schooner Resolute, of Belleville, sunk off the piers in Oswego during the gale last night. All hands were saved. The cargo which consisted of 4,200 bushels of barley, consigned by Messrs. Vandusen, Jones & Henry, of this port, will be a total loss. Cargo insured. [Intelligencer]
