p.2 Launch - A launch took place on Saturday last at the new shipyard of Mr. Smithers, Wolfe Island, of a fine large sloop, which was christened the Express. Mr. Smithers is well known to Kingston as a boat-builder, and the Express is the 1st vessel committed to the water by him in his present capacity of ship builder. A large number of persons were present on the occasion.
