p.2 Schooner Ashore - Information was received at the office of Messrs. Calvin & Breck at noon today, of a schooner ashore on the Charity Shoal, south of Pigeon Island, with a flag of distress flying. A tug was despatched to her assistance. She proves to be the S. Robinson, from Chicago to Ogdensburgh, with grain.
A Quick Run - Last week the barque Robert Gaskin made the run from Detroit to Chicago in the short space of 3 days.
