p.2 Close of the Season - The last down tow of the season for Montreal, consisting of three barges, left Kingston today.

Laid Up - The Jessie Drummond goes into winter quarters at the shipyard. The British Lion is stripping here and will be towed with cargo to Maitland, where she will winter. The steamer Grecian will lay up tomorrow at Swift's wharf. The Rescue gunboat will winter in Navy Bay.
