p.2 Marine - The schooner Annexation arrived yesterday morning from Oswego, her cargo being principally barrels of salt. Her captain reports dirty weather on the Lake. She will probably winter at Garden Island. The sloop Greyhound also arrived yesterday morning from Picton, with a very heterogeneal cargo and three passengers. She will leave again for the same destination, via Cape Vincent. The shipping business is nearly closed, and with the above exceptions, and the running of the ferry steamers, the harbour presents the quiet appearance of mid-winter.
