p.2 Marine - The harbor is still free of ice, but the shipping business has almost entirely ceased. The ferry boat runs steadily, and the steamer Watertown continues her trips to Cape Vincent. Since our last report the barque Mary Jane arrived from Prescott for the purpose of wintering at Garden Island. The propeller Bruno is on the railway at the shipyard, and will be followed by the propeller Brantford.

-Georgian Bay Canal Company to apply to Dominion government for assistance.
