p.2 The Ice Trade - The ice is in splendid condition, the blocks taken out for shipment being solid and clear as glass. About ten vessels are in course of loading by one firm, and orders are being accepted by other firms. Most of the vessels destined for the West in the spring will depart hence ice laden.

Died - March 4th, of inflammation of the heart, Robert Hermiston, Pilot steamer Grecian, aged 48 years.
