p.2 Shipping News - The propeller East arrived at noon today from Chicago, and is discharging at the M.T. Company's wharf. Le Corsair and the Trade Wind left Garden Island this morning for up the lake. Information has been received that the Prince Alfred has been got off Point Pelee without having sustained any damage.

p.3 ad - M. O'Gorman, Boat Builder, Simcoe Street, Kingston - established 1847.
