p.2 Shipping News - J.H. Henderson & Co's wharf - The barge Linnet left last night for Montreal with 17,000 bush wheat. She was an addition to the reported last evening. The schr Sweepstakes arrived last night from Chicago with 11,900 bush wheat. The schr Cortez sailed last night for Chicago.

The steamer Hiram Calvin arrived last night at Garden Island from the wreck of the Grecian. She is engaged taking on board the lumber for the boxes to float the wreck, and will probably leave tomorrow.

Swift & Co's wharf - The schr Pearl arrived this morning from Oswego with a general cargo. The schr. Gazelle arrived last night from Oswego, light. The sloop Cora sailed last night for Brockville to load lumber. The steamer Huron passed down and the props Georgian and Indian up this morning, all touching.

The steam barge R. Anglin is unloading wood at Doran's wharf, and will leave this evening for the Rideau Canal.

Gurney & Glidden's wharf - The tug Elswood arrived this morning from the Rideau Canal with a tow of three barges with combined cargoes of 98,000 feet of lumber, 1,500 railroad ties, and 125 tons iron ore. The schr Gazelle is taking in lumber at this wharf, and will leave this evening for Oswego.

Garden Island - No arrivals. The bark Fanny Campbell for Chicago, light, and the bark G. Thurston for above the Welland Canal, left today.

Swift's wharf - The steamer City of Ottawa arrived this afternoon from Ottawa. She started on her return as usual.
