p.2 The Steamer Rochester - The steamer Rochester has now fairly assumed her duties as passenger and freight steamer between Kingston and Belleville and the Bay of Quinte ports. The command of her has been assigned to Captain R. Crawford, well and favourably known for many years as purser of the vessel.

Shipping - The schooners Sweden and Denmark left Garden Island this morning, light, the former for Bear Creek and the latter for Toledo.
