p.2 editorial on improvement of harbour - (part) ..."We must confess to a feeling of disappointment at the report of the Committee on the improvement of the harbour. We did expect that they would have given us some well digested plan by which the harbour mght be enlarged and fitted for the increasing trade which it is expected on all hands that we shall have. The nature of the works and by whom they should be undertaken, by the Corporation or by the government, with an approximate idea of the cost, all these were questions which we hoped they would have answered by a practical report..."
