Northern Transportation Company - During the coming season the Northern Transportation Company will run twenty one boats, the following being a list thereof, with their captains:- Akron, W. Gardner; Buckeye, J.H. McCormick; Brooklyn, D.H. Davis; City of Boston, John Brown; City of New York, A.C. Chapman; City of Concord, Wm. Rollo; City of Toledo, S.B. Ripsom; Cleveland, Harvey Brown; Empire, _ Denner; Granite State, E. White; Maine, Ira Bishop; Milwaukee, John Landfair; Nashua, Alva Shaver; Oswegatchie, Charles Ely; Prairie State, D.A. Kiah; St. Albans, Jason Knapp; Young America, _ Waterbury; Chaplain, Robert McGrory; Michigan, W.E. Williams; Lawrence, A. Reid; Lowell, R. Smith.

Died - wife of Capt. W.R. Taylor.
