p.2 Steamer Pierrepont - This fine steamer, which has been newly painted and renovated for the season's trade, made her first trip to Wolfe Island today. She accomplished the passage without any apparent difficulty, and we feel satisfied that had the attempt been made a couple of days since the voyage could have been performed with equal safety. It is the intention to start for Cape Vincent on Monday. Once broken the ice will soon move out of this harbour.

Changed Hands - The steamer Norfolk, now in Kingston, and which ran last year between the city, Gananoque and Clayton, has been purchased by Captain Porte, formerly owner of the steamer John Greenway, burned at Picton last autumn, and she is to be placed on the route between Belleville and Trenton.
