p.2 The Ice - Mr. J.H. Scott, master of the propeller Scotia, which arrived here yesterday afternoon at five o'clock, reports ice half way between Nine Mile Point and the Ducks. The propeller, he says, got within four miles of Nine Mile Point, and after several ineffectual attempts to break a passage, was forced to turn back, and passing through the upper gap, came down the Bay of Quinte, finding at places the old ice still unbroken.
