Rideau Canal - The repairs at Kingston Mills lock are progressing very satisfactorily, and being pushed with great energy day and night. It is expected that navigation will be resumed in about ten days.

Yacht Oriole, Toronto, 95 tons register; Capt., R. Bilton; crew, W.C. Campbell, W. Mulock, R. Hunter, W.M. Ross, A.B. Lee, B.F. Lymans, J.E. Robertson, Thos. Moss, C. Moss, J.E. Townsend, A.M. Nuthall, Alex. Munro, H. Stevens, W. Haight, J.G. Ridout, Geo. Massie, T.H. Lee; stewart, T.A. Jones. Left Toronto at 5:10 a.m. on Saturday; free run; arrived at Kingston at 9:50 p.m. on Sunday; part distance run, 10 miles per hour.
