Drowned Off The Edsall - This morning at an early hour a sailor on the tug E.D. Edsall, brother-in-law of the Captain, William Miller, a man of probably forty-four years of age, was found drowned alongside the above named boat... inquest on Christopher - "Found Drowned."

Raft Ashore - A raft of four drams of timber, which broke adrift from the tug E.D. Edsall, is reported ashore in Salmon Bay. Application has been made to the tug office for the H.M. Mixer or Lady Franklin to remove it from its present position where it is said to be in iminent danger of being sundered and lost.
The Propeller China - Capt. Fossett of the Aetna and the Agent of the British American Insurance Company, arrived here this morning on business in connection with the burning of the propeller China on which there were risks to the amount of $24,000. They are staying at the Anglo-American Hotel.
