p.2 Transfer of the Maud - Yesterday the preliminaries for the sale of the steamer Maud, by Mr. C.F. Gildersleeve, were closed, and she passed into the ownership and possession of Messrs. Folger, Nichol & Co., of the Kingston, Wolfe Island and Cape Vincent Ferry Line. The new firm are determined at this rate to vastly improve the traffic and passenger travel of this route by the exercise of that enterprising and progressive spirit which invariably characterises their business transactions.
