p.2 Another Transfer - Capt. Yott, of Wolfe Island, has purchased the schooner Hibernia, from Captain Keith, of Bowmanville, for $3,600 cash.

A Giant Stick - A heavy stick of timber, drawn by four teams of horses from the village of Melville, was delivered to Messrs. Calvin & Breck, of Garden Island. Our informant says it was an enormous spar, the largest he has ever seen. He measured by steps one hundred yards, and then gave up exhausted and he wasn't near the end either.
