The steamer Comet is on the Marine Railway, in the lower harbor, undergoing temporary repairs, sufficient to enable her to be towed down to Montreal, where she will be overhauled forthwith and rebuilt in the most approved and substantial manner. Capt. Conner, late of the Comet, proceeds to Montreal this week, where he will take the command of the new steamer Champion, which together with another boat will form a tri-weekly line between this port and Hamilton.
