Coulthurst & Macphie's wharf - Arrived: schr. H.B. Rathbun, Toronto, 8,815 bush. wheat; schr. George L. Wren, Chicago, 13,961 bush. wheat. Cleared: barge Powerful, 19,000 bush. corn, Montreal; barge Oneida, 18,000 bush. wheat.

Montreal Transportation Company's wharf - Arrived: Schr. A.B. Locke, Milwaukee, 21,500 bush. wheat; Typo, Milwaukee, 20,750 bush. wheat; Riverside, Chicago, 19,023 bush. wheat.

Messrs. James Swift & Co.'s wharf - The steamer Corsican passed down this morning. the steamers Spartan and Corinthian, and props. City of Chatham, America and Lothair passed up.

Holcomb and Stewart's wharf - The schr. M.C. Cameron sailed last night for Chicago with 100 tons of pig iron, on which the freight was $1 in gold per ton.

Port Colborne, May 22nd - Down: Schrs. G. Mollison, Milwaukee, Oswego, wheat; Marysburg, Cleveland, Toronto, corn; prop. Granite State, Ogdensburg, gen. cargo; tug J.S. Spinney, Buffalo, Oswego, light.

Up: Schrs. China, Augusta, Olive Branch, H.W. Hoag, Babineau & Geaudry, New Dominion, of Port Rowan, John Wesley, Ann Maria, A.W. Lucky, Clara Youell; prop. Brooklyn; schrs. Melrose, J.S. Clark, Gibraltar; prop. Marine (sic - Maine ?); schrs. Ontario, E. Cohen, Smith & Post, Trade Wind, P. Hannah; prop. Young America.

p.2 Launch - The new freight steamer which has been built for Messrs. Fraser and George, by Mr. Chapman, near the Cataraqui Bridge has been successfully launched. It is a very fine boat, of 250 tons register and 50 horse power. It is named the Saxon, and will be employed in the freight trade of the Bay of Quinte.
