Messrs. James Swift & Co.'s wharf - The steamer Corsican passed down this morning. the steamers Spartan and Corinthian, and props. City of Chatham, America and Lothair passed up.
Holcomb and Stewart's wharf - The schr. M.C. Cameron sailed last night for Chicago with 100 tons of pig iron, on which the freight was $1 in gold per ton.

p.2 Launch - The new freight steamer which has been built for Messrs. Fraser and George, by Mr. Chapman, near the Cataraqui Bridge has been successfully launched. It is a very fine boat, of 250 tons register and 50 horse power. It is named the Saxon, and will be employed in the freight trade of the Bay of Quinte.
