Montreal Transportation Company's wharf - The tug Glide arrived with three barges, light. The schr. Annie Mulvey left for Chicago with 200 tons of pig iron, and the barque Arabia is loading 230 tons pig iron for the same place. The tug Glide with barges Dreadnought, 10,200 bush. wheat; Idle, 6,299 bush. wheat; Milwaukee, 21,270 bush. wheat; Portland, 9,933 bush. wheat; Flint, 7,437 bush. corn; Dauntless, 12,200 bush. corn.
Messrs. James Swift & Co.'s wharf - The steamers Corsican and Osprey and the props. America and Argyle passed up, and the steamer Spartan down. The schr. Grace Murray left last night with her cargo of iron ore for Cleveland.
Holcomb & Stewart's wharf - The prop. Lake Erie lightened 3,500 bush. corn, and proceeded to Montreal.

p.4 The steamer Bruce, now on the St. Lawrence and Brockville, has been purchased by Messrs. Schofield and Rochester, of Ottawa, and will be placed upon the Ottawa and fitted for a tug and for excursion parties. She will carry 500 passengers.
