p.2 The funeral of the late Capt. Carmichael, of the steamer Bavarian, took place today at Toronto.

Marine - The schooner Mary Foster has finished loading 5,000 hop poles for Oswego, and will leave for her destination today, if possible. The following vessels are laid up at South Bay for the winter: Belle, of Hamilton, Olivia, Flora Jane, Sea Bird, Jessie Brown, Flying Scud; and in Black Creek, the Ocean Wave and Clara White.
