p.2 The New Steamer For Gananoque - Captain Chrysler is at work with a stock subscription for the purpose of purchasing a steamer to ply between Gananoque and the neighbouring ports. He thinks a boat could be bought for $10,000 or $15,000 that would answer the purpose, and that the business would pay a profitable dividend; and being a captain of thirty years' experience on these waters, he ought to know. We are informed that the business men are responding promptly, and that a large proportion of the necessary stock has already been subscribed for. [Gananoque Reporter]
