p.2 The Ferry - The Pierrepont was only able to get out a part of the way to the Island this morning, when she encountered a field of ice about a quarter of a mile broad, so packed that it was impossible to penetrate. As the weather seems to be turning softer, she will probably manage to get through tomorrow.

p.4 Kingston, the Buffalo of Canada - signed A Forwarder - full column about circular sent by Board of Works.

The ferry steamer New York has commenced running between Prescott and Ogdensburg.
