Launch. - The new barque Danube, built for Messrs. M. Merrick & Co. , was launched from the ship yard of Baker & Co. , yesterday. She is of the largest class sail vessels on Lake Ontario, measuring about 400 tons, with 134 feet keel, 25 ½ beam and 11 ½ ft. hold, and will fill the Welland Canal locks.

She was launched in fine style, with her spars in, and is one of the most staunch built, capacious vessels on the Lake, alike creditable to the enterprising builders and proprietors. She is fitting out in the West harbor, and will be ready for navigation in a few days.
