p.3 Sault Ste. Marie, Aug. 3rd - The Ontario passed up last night at 8 p.m.

Police Court - John Dumphy preferred a charge against Mr. McGaw, captain of the Ocean for wages due. Dumphy shipped on board the Ocean at Chicago, but left at Gananoque before his month was finished, and for this he demanded $9 wages for the time he served. This the Captain refused him, and the consequence was the present suit. The case was adjourned till tomorrow. Mr. Price appeared for Capt. McGaw, and Mr. McGuire for Mr. Dumphy.
