p.2 ad - Very Superior Castings - Brokenshire's Atlantic Foundry - corner of Union & Ontario St., makes propeller wheels. Sept. 15th.

ad - Provincial Exhibition at Toronto - Canadian Navigation Co. - Royal Mail Through Line - half fare.

p.3 The Steamer Watertown - This fine boat is rapidly gaining popularity, and as a sequence, the support of the public, her officers being able and attentive and the steamer commodious. The hours at which she leaves and arrives at Toronto and the Humber will be found in an advertisement. We know of no more pleasant trip, these fearfully hot days, than to the Humber and back. The scenery along the banks of that river is very beautiful, and the expense is quite small. [Leader]
