p.2 The tug Lady Franklin has been very successful in her wrecking operations during the past summer having secured every vessel she went after.

The schooner Stafford was towed down to Prescott this morning by the tug Lady Franklin. There was no damage done by her going ashore. The Franklin took down the schooner Peerless at the same time.

The Corsican - The Corsican was brought down last evening to Portsmouth, but on examination Captain Howard was afraid that the ways were not strong enough, and decided to take her to Ogdensburg which was done this morning. It is a pity that the repairs could not have been done here.
