p.1 Dominion Board of Trade - 6th annual meeting to be held in Ottawa on Jan. 18th - official programme - mentions pilotage, unseaworthy ships, coasting trade, Canadian Lloyds, etc.

p.2 Shipping News - A telegram from Toronto says: "A schooner in full sail, from the other side of the lake, entered the bay on Saturday morning, and took up her position in the slips. Such a phenomenon at this period of the year is not within the recollection of several of the most prominent "oldest inhabitants."

Kingston Enterprise - Folger Bros. applauded for keeping ferry running to Cape Vincent.
