p.1 City Council - (part) - The Graving Dock - A letter was read from Messrs. W. Power & Co., of the shipyard, calling attention to the graving dock now in course of construction, and showing the great want such a dock was to the city. The letter asked the city either to grant a loan or take stock in the enterprize, or take such steps as may assist him in building the graving dock.

The letter was referred to the Finance Committee.
