p.2 Mr. C.S. Wilson's schooner Huron, of Picton, was sold at Toronto last week to Mr. Chas. Scott for $11,965.

Models - Mr. W. Power is preparing three very handsome models of vessels for the Centennial, which will be furnished early next week, and placed for exhibition in the Mechanic's Institute Reading room before being sent away. They consist of a 1,200 ton ship for ocean sailing, an ocean yacht, and a lake schooner. We will give the dimensions when they are fully prepared.

The Yacht Meeting - The meeting called for last evening was not so successful as was expected. There does not seem to be much enthusiasm in the scheme of sending a yacht to compete at the Centennial. A gentleman was, however, appointed to receive subscriptions for the stock from those who choose to invest.
