A Launch. - Ald. Rogers launched a noble schooner yesterday afternoon in the presence of a large number of people. She is named the Ocean Eagle, and is worthy of her title. She looms up like an ocean packet. Her dimensions are 122 feet length of keel, 24 1/2 feet beam, 10 feet hold, and is to be commanded by Capt. McKnight, one of the oldest Captains on the Lakes. She is owned by Ald. Colborn. Ald. Rogers has another vessel on the stocks, a facsimile of the Young America, which will be launched next Saturday, built for Henry Ames. both vessels are noble specimens of marine architecture, and do great credit to their builders.
