p.3 Yachting at Belleville - Yesterday a good yacht race took place at Massassaga Point, in which five yachts took part. The course was a forty mile one, and the Peerless proved the winner. There was a good strong breeze blowing during the race.

The Canal - The following vessels passed through the Canal yesterday for Kingston: Laura Belle, Toledo, Kingston, corn; Two Friends, Toledo, Kingston; J.C. Woodruff, Toledo, Kingston, corn; Mary Battle, Toledo, Kingston, corn; Erie Belle, Toledo, Kingston, corn; Oliver Mowat, Toledo, Kingston, grain; London, Toledo, Garden Island, timber; Bessie Barwick, Toledo, Collinsby, timber; L.H. Breck, Toledo, Garden Island, timber.
