p.2 The steam yacht Maggie McLaren, of Brockville, which has been cruising around for several days, was in the harbour today.

Bush Fires - The str. Rochester did not get to her dock until about three o'clock yesterday afternoon, on account of the smoke on the Bay from brush fires.

Montreal Transportation Co. - The tug Elfin left with barges Detroit, 20,074 bush. wheat; Montreal, 18,570 bush. wheat; Cherokee, 18,496 bush. wheat and 100 tons stone; schr. Morewood, 340 tons block stone from Vermillion to Montreal.

J. Swift's - Called - Corsican from Montreal, Algerian from Hamilton; Persia from St. Catharines, Oswego Belle from Belleville; Lake Michigan from Hamilton, and J.J. Morley from Alexandria Bay.
