p.2 The Corinthian Still Aground - Early this afternoon the Corinthian still remained on the rocks. It was anticipated that by the assistance of the tugs she would be removed this afternoon. No further particulars can as yet be ascertained.

Marine Notes

There are no grain arrivals yet to report, although there is a large number of vessels on the way down.

Jas. Swift - Called - strs. Lake Michigan from Rochester; Oswego Belle from Belleville; Magnet from Montreal; Corsican from Hamilton. The Simon Davis left for Ottawa and the D.C. West for the Canal. The schr. Hibernia is loading coal here.

The wheel of the Algerian is almost fitted up and she will be running tomorrow or next day.
