p.3 The Ferry - The Pierrepont is now fairly started, and trips will be made once a day to Cape Vincent. There is still some ice in both channels but there is no difficulty in making the trips. A very large number of persons availed themselves of the boat today, and this afternoon the steamer took a load of cattle over to the Cape.

The Norseman will soon be put on her old route, under the command of Captain Sherwood.
