p.2 Excursions - The steamer City of Kingston can now be chartered by excursion parties for excursions on the Rideau Canal, River St. Lawrence and Bay of Quinte. Also, can be engaged for freight purposes. Apply to WB. and S. Anglin, Wellington Street North. May 26th.

The steamer Manitoba and the Frances Smith arrived at Duluth last night, the 22nd inst., with 250 passengers for Manitoba.

p.3 Marine Notes

James Swift's - The strs. Corsican passed down this morning and the Spartan up last night. The Water Lily arrived from Ottawa and the D.C. West from Westport.

St. Lawrence & Chicago Forwarding Co. - The schr. Minerva arrived from Chicago with 217,000 deals.

The prop. Lincoln arrived at Garden Island with 26,530 pipe staves

The schr. Albacore arrived at Collinsby with 207 pieces of timber for the Collinsby Rafting Co.

The new tug of the Collinsby Rafting Company left on Thursday with about the largest timber raft that ever went down the St. Lawrence.

It is expected that the steamer Hastings will resume her trips on the Bay on Monday next, her shaft having been put in. The arrangement of which we spoke last week between the Maud and the Hastings has, we believe, fallen through.
