FOR SALE

Under a Power of Sale contained in a Mortgage the steam barge Indian, now lying at Kingston, capacity 250,000 feet of lumber, has one sail, two anchors and chains, is very easy on fuel, is in good condition and ready for freight, will be sold by Public Auction at Doran's Wharf, in Kingston, on the twenty-seventh day of June instant, at Twelve o'clock noon.

p.3 Wood - The tug Elswood brought a very large tow of cordwood from the Rideau Canal last evening. She also towed in the Water Lily, which was heavily laden with laths, biscuit boxes, etc.

The steamers of this line will leave Kingston as follows:

At 5:30 p.m. for Toronto and Hamilton, calling at intermediate ports (weather permitting).

Corsican, on Wednesday, 6th June.

Spartan, on Friday, 8th June.

Algerian, on Saturday, 9th June.

Passport, on Sunday, 10th June.

Corinthian, on Tuesday, 12th June.

For Montreal and Quebec, at 5:00 a.m.:

Algerian, on Thursday, 7th June.

Corsican, on Saturday, 9th June.

Spartan, on Tuesday, 12th June.

Algerian, on Wednesday, 13th June.

Passport, on Thursday, 14th June.

For passage tickets and any information apply at the Lake and River Steamboat Office, St. Lawrence Wharf, foot of Johnson Street.
