Full Text

We were glad to meet Capt. Day, for two seasons past, commander of the U. S. Revenue Cutter Harrison, in the city again this week, having been returned to this point again. Capt. Day has formerly spent a long series of years in the South, and finds the bracing air of the north congenial to his health as well as that of his family. The Captain finds it pleasant to traverse the waters and visit the scenes on Lake Ontario, in which he participated during the last war with Great Britain.
